If you made an error setting your password or screen unlock pattern, or you had mind-wiped by aliens (also known as bottles of beer), sometimes you just can’t remember the PIN number the screen unlock pattern for your phone. Here are your options to get back your device.
What to do if you forgot Password/Pattern unlock of your Android phone?
Fortunately, Android has a protection mechanism built-in. All you need to do is enter your passcode incorrectly five times. Once you do this, you should see a new button appear at the bottom of the screen that says “Forgot your Password?” or something similar. So, you should just be able to type the credentials of the Google account linked to your phone and it will ask you to create a new password. Make sure that you remember that, this time, perhaps even writing it down somewhere is a good idea to not forget. Of course, this assumes you remember your Google password. It will not work if you had amnesia, full.
A second option to unlock your Android when you forget your password
Unfortunately, the official method of Google is known for having some serious problems in the past, how does not work for everyone. If you find that the method that Google does not work, you have another option. The free app Screen Block Bypass will bypass the phone’s lock screen each time you turn it on, so you do not need to enter the access code more. However, it will not disable the password, it will simply ignore it. We do not recommend as a long-term solution, but you can use it to go back to your device and back up your applications before changing the lock password of the device.
But how to install if you do not have access to the main screen of the device? Just sign in to the web interface of the Play Store on any computer with your Google account that is linked to your device and install the application to your device. Then, install more a any application, and Screen Lock Bypass will automatically launch, allowing you to wake up your phone without a lock screen. It’ll also run whenever you restart your phone so that you can turn your phone off and still access your data. Once more, you will need your Google credentials to sign in to Play Store, so evildoers and amnesiacs will not be able to use this method.
If you uninstall it, you will have to deal with the lock pattern again, though, so as I said, now would be a good idea to backup your apps and data and wipe your phone.

You can’t use soft reset that you can not pass the lock screen. You need to do what we call a hard reset using the hardware keys volume and on/off. It is very easy to do the hard reset on Windows Phone. It does not take much to restore the phone. It is worth remembering that different devices can have different keys for the Hard Reset. For example, in the Lumia devices from Nokia, the hard Reset is done by holding the buttons for Camera, power on/Off and volume down until the phone vibrates. After that, release only the on/Off button and after a few seconds (about 10 seconds), then release the buttons.
